After visiting the museum I can reflect on the experience with a clear conclusion

The elements I preferred were patterns, interesting color combinations, tufting and weaving

I was very impressed by the machinery and techniques used for tufting and weaving

History of Quarantaineweg

Isolating area for ship's crew to stay in quarantine to prevent the spreading of illness

Different functional buildings:
--> disinfecting building
--> kitchen
--> nurse building
--> diseased building

The buildings have different styles, sizes and shapes but they end up being very similar and fit together so well

Form and function are connected

build in 1928, opened in 1930 and closed in 1950

Interviews, getting to know the locals

Living, working, isolation and freedom --> positive and negative

The view you see doesn't correspond to the sounds you hear, its a very rare experience
